A beautiful 1917 type one, standing liberty quarter graded MS 63 FH by PCGS. It holds an exceptional quality strike with a fully defined head on the obverse. This coin also has a very light hue of toning that matches perfectly among both sides. A very popular U.S type coin to find being the second year of the series and much more affordable than the 1916. It has been approved by CAC for quality and is housed in a PCGS Secure Label Holder.
This Philadelphia Mint date holds a large mintage of 8,740,000. Of this mintage, the PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 9,000 have survived today with a full head such as this one. It is one of 1,520 graded Mint State 63 by PCGS. It is also one of only 50 approved by CAC for quality in this grade level.
