Western Airlines (WAL) was founded in 1925 and was a major US airline based in California, with operations throughout the western US, Alaska, Hawaii and western Canada. It its later years, it operated flights to the eastern US, Mexico, London and Nassau, Bahamas. Delta Air Lines acquired WAL in 1987 and merged WAL into the Delta system. For auction an opened deck of playing cards from WAL, circa 1970s. The deck, which measures appx 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches, includes all 52 cards and 2 jokers and is in a cardboard container.

. The deck has been opened, but the
cards show no use
- no rips, tears, writing, markings or folds. The case shows minor wear.
