For auction is a set of three stainless steel dining utensils - two spoons and a fork - from WAL. They likely date from the 1970s. On the handle of each utensil are the words "Western Airlines" with a small logo. On the back of the fork are the words "Oneida Hotel Plate"

Description
Western Airlines
(WAL
) was
founded in 1925
and was a major US airline based in California, with
operations throughout the western US, Alaska, Hawaii and western Canada
. It its later years, it operated
flights to the eastern US, Mexico, London and Nassau, Bahamas
.
Delta Air Lines acquired WAL in 1987
and merged WAL into the Delta system.

The spoons measure 5 inches, the fork 6 inches. Each item shows
normal wear
, but there are no cracks or chips.
