Description
Western Airlines (WAL) was founded in 1925 and was a major US airline based in California, with operations throughout the western US, Alaska, Hawaii and western Canada. It its later years, it operated flights to the eastern US, Mexico, London and Nassau, Bahamas. Delta Air Lines acquired WAL in 1987 and merged WAL into the Delta system. For auction is a set of two stainless steel dining utinsels - a knife and a fork - from WAL. They likely date from the 1970s.
