    Description

    Antique 1866 Union apple peeler with pushoff. Probably the best-designed pushoff due to its compact size.  This one has seen extensive use and, curiously, only the drive gear shows wear.  It has some wobble to it but continues to function properly.
    Nice patina and this model has always been a favorite of mine.  Just about the perfect paring machine since it peels an apple on each pass to-and-fro and kicks the apple off.  Perfectly engineered just one year after the Civil War.
