Antique Alexanderwerk Cast Iron & Wood Bread / All Purpose Slicer #320 Germany

Beautiful antique Alexanderwerk cast iron and wood bread all-purpose slicer
in good working condition.  There is a hole in the metal blade however it
still works as it should.  I am not sure what the wood cradle is made of,
possible cherry wood.  It looks original and in overall good condition.

Approximate measurements are including handle: 10 3/4" X 15 1/4" X 15"
This slicer can be used for other food items other than bread.  Vegetables,
fruits and cheeses would work also.  Another idea it could be used to
store cookbooks on your counter.
This piece is from the 1920's of the renowned Alexanderwerk AG from
Remscheid Germany founded in 1885.
