    ANTIQUE CAST IRON APPLE PEELER #78 READING WORKING ORIG.GREEN PAINT VINTAGE.
    Here is an old apple peeler.  I have used it and it works.  The apple peeler base fits onto a table and you can tighten it as needed.  I didn't use the slicer, but I think that you can adjust it by loosening the screw so that the blade comes out longer.  See picture.  It was made by Reading (PA) Hardware Co.  It is #78.  It has the original green wooden handle and the apple peeler is also the original green.
