    Description

    Antique Lightning apple peeler with rare pushoff arrangement. This is the harder-to-find horizontal version with the loop to activate the pushoff.  Apparently, these were produced only for a short time because they were replaced with the vertical versions which are quite common.
    This one has seen very little use and only the brass spring on the pushoff is a replacement.  Otherwise, all original with a nice finish.  Wood handle is perfect which indicates it spent most of its life on a shelf in dry storage.  Just the way we like to find them.
