Description
This is a wonderful antique hand crank apple peeler likely from the late 1800's or the turn of the century. It features a wonderful heart design on the gears. Made of cast iron by the Sinclair Scott Company in Baltimore Maryland, this fascinating piece of machinery is sure to enhance any collection. It measures approximately 9 inches by 9 inches by 6 inches and weighs approximately 3 pounds. The mechanism cranks and turns wonderfully. There's a little rust in the bottom of the screw to hold it upright, see picture showing that.Overall it is in extremely nice shape. It looks like it was packed away for years and not used very much. Please see photos as they are a major part of the description. Feel free to ask any questions before bidding.
