Description

For sale is a used Apple iMac G4 20-inch desktop computer with the original box and foam inserts. This computer is in overall decent cosmetic shape though there are some cosmetic flaws worth pointing out. The body appears to have some blemishes on the inside of the plastic case, particularly in the front. There is also a large hairline scratch in the display, some yellowing of the white plastic on the bezel, and the top part of the bezel appears to have broken loose from the display body. Display seems to have some ghosting of some sort along the edges and bottom but this is only noticable on very light backgrounds. Beyond those flaws the computer looks to be in good shape.
The power button is very finicky and I don't know what the exact issue is, but most of the time the computer does not respond to the power button being pressed. The computer should turn on if you persist with it though and plugging it into different outlets may help.
Functionally, the computer has been upgraded to a 128GB SATA SSD via an adapter(zip tied and double sided taped into the old HDD tray) and the RAM has been upgraded to 1.5GB. A fresh copy of OS X Leopard 10.5.1 has been installed and I've made sure the basic functions of the OS work as normal. The disc drive seemed to work when I tested it with DVDs, as does the onboard WiFi and mono speaker. The included keyboard, mouse, and Pro Speakers work as they should.
