There are 2 possible CDI boxes for the Formula Mach1 1990 model. This CDI fits engines up to NO. 3 827 466. For engines NO. 3 827 467 and up, the right CDI is part RM02184. Always check in the 'Fits models' section and please compare to your original part before buying.

The only real way to test your CDI box is to swap it out with another known good unit from the same year/make/model. Because of this, we recommend that you rule everything else out before replacing the CDI box.

All of the wires are installed in the correct order; please do not change any of the wiring configurations.
