    Description

This auction is for 11 4x6 photos of Debbie Harry taken by the seller at two different concerts in 1978. The copyright across the pictures won't be in the pictures sent.
These photos are copyrighted and intended for collecting/display use only.  No reproduction or posting of any kind,
electronic or otherwise without seller's permission.
The first 7 are from the Roxy Movie Theatre in Pacific Beach, San Diego on 11/22/78.  Most of these were taken about 10' away, and this show was loud and intense. The ones of Debbie in the black coat were taken when she first came onstage.  The last 4 are from San Diego State Ampitheatre on 7/19/78.  Blondie was the opening act for The Kinks that night, who were on their
    Misfits
tour, and Blondie put on a high-powered show.  Blondie's current album was
    Parallel Lines
and although they had made other records, they hadn't yet become a huge, internationally known act.  But that was about to change in 1978 with high drama in "11:59" and new hit songs like "Heart of Glass" and "One Way or Another."
I'm a published writer who has co-written two rock music books a book on Led Zeppelin and the 60s-70s music scene.  The first one,
Whole Lotta Led: Our Flight with Led Zeppelin
.  I sell signed copies of this book on eBay.  It is a Zeppelin biography and also has stories about various '70s rock shows that I photographed.  There are also accounts of other photographers and fans about what it was like to see Led Zeppelin.  Included are two incredible photo sections that chronicle this band's career.  These were put together by my co-author Jerry Prochnicky, who also co-authored the biography
Break on Through: The Life and Death of Jim Morrison.
