    Description

Apple Mac mini A1283 Desktop - MC239LL/A (October, 2009). Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
This Mac Mini only officially updates as far as macOS 10.11 El Capitan, but I have installed a patched version of Mojave in order to use newer apps and have the tapback feature in iMessage. I've swapped out the HDD with an SSD to have the OS run smoother, and I upgraded the RAM from 2 to 5 GB as well, which was another big help. This listing is for the computer and a Mini DVI to HDMI adapter (note, you'll need an aux cord if you want audio from your monitor).
No power cable, monitor, keyboard, or mouse.
I know the listing shows that the SSD has some storage used up for my apps and data, but I will ship the computer with a wiped drive and clean install of the operating system.
An important thing to note about the OS is that it is patched, so
you cannot update from the Software Update page in System preferences. This will render the OS useless and require a reinstallation, possibly losing all of your data
(if you don't have a Time Machine back up). Do not install any security updates for Mojave or upgrade to Catalina. It is possible to patch Catalina on this machine, but I had some app compatibility issues, whereas on Mojave I had 100% compatibility.
Do not update from the Software Update page.
    Thanks for looking!
