I have an apothecary of herbs collected both wild and from my garden here in the sunshine state. Coupled with crystals and metals (dependant on intentions may contain other humanely sourced organic material such as feathers, shells, bones, etc... I'm vegan so these materials are found naturally in nature and cleaned properly. I NEVER use anything from a live animal), set with powerful intentions, these charm bags are a perfect addition to solo work, passive charms, and altar preparations.
Dependant on contents the weight of bags may vary from 1-3 ounces.
They are small enough to wear around your neck, tucked in your bra or pocket, or inside your pillow at night. I will include hand written instructions on how to use your bag. But of course you should always do what feels most natural for yourself.
Many paths use these types of bags, they are called a variety of names by pactitioners of Wicca, voodoo, hoodoo, druidism, Norse and pagan (etc) religions.
I follow a natural, solitary pagan path so I don't really have a technical name for them, grandma called them gris gris, though her beliefs varied from mine. Again in keeping with what comes natural to me. Whatever you want to call them, they are packed with potent herbs and crystals that are associated with all paths for specific intentions.

The bags we now use are slightly larger than the images. We use 3x5" (flat - obviously when filled and tied they appear smaller) bags to allow for more material.
We include basic care,awakening, and annointing instructions. (It's really easy so don't stress ).
