Description

Passionflower is thought to affect the passions, perhaps because of its name, its showy, sweet-scented flowers, which are of Venus, and its twining habit. It is often used in amulets and charms for love magick, in that case inciting passions, but it also serves to calm passions. It can be sprinkled at thresholds to protect the home from disruptions. Some believe that carrying passionflower in a charm bag will encourage friendship from others.
Like many vines, the
