    16"x20" PETE TOWNSHEND, SAN FRANCISCO 1968 SIGNED, BARON WOLMAN
    Pete Townshend of The Who, this Black and White Photo taken by Baron Wolman in 1968 at the now famous San Francisco concert at the Filmore West, back in the early Rolling Stone Magazine and Haight-Ashbury Hippie days.
    This large format 16"x20" had a limited edition run of 150, it is #6 and signed by Wolman. Baron Wolman was the most famous Rolling Stone Magazine photographer back in the early days.  His career began with Rolling Stone in 1967 in San Francisco where he had photo sessions with all the greats including The Who, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Syd Barrett, Elvis Costello,  Pink Floyd and many others. I have more of his work in my listings.
    This photo as well as the others I currently have listed has been stored and carefully preserved over the years.  It is protected by a sturdy plastic sleeve and it will be shipped flat.
