    Description

    This is a letter that was carried aboard the restored Douglas M-2 in 1976 as it recreated and flew the original mail route that was done in 1926.  This letter was carried aboard the historic flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and then to Salt Lake City.  It has postmarks from Los Angeles and Salt Lake.  It also has a commemorative stamp.  A note inside from Arthur Kelly explains it all and the pride of achievements in the first 50 years of the airline.
