  • Condition: This piece was well loved and well used. It, as most , has light signs of wear, light marks and surface scuffs. No dents or bad scratches, just normal light wear and signs of use in a very scarce form. Nambé does offer premium cleaning and polishing services for all of their products and info can be found on-line.

    This is an Estate Fresh
    SCARCE BEAUTIFUL HUGE MID CENTURY MODERN NAMBE TRAY w DECORATED HANDLES #220 ca 1967 its a whopping 16" in diam x 20" across the handles,
    in ESTATE FRESH USED CONDITION.  This stylistically impressive piece is a Nambe form that is not often seen.  The handled tray is great for serving as it has the 2 heavy duty & decorated handles.  It's aesthetically pleasing to look at and its a more than useful piece to offset its large size.
    Nambé products are made with a trade secret and signature eight-metal alloy that is composed mainly of aluminum, a development over 60 years ago by Martin Eden, a Los Alamos National Laboratory metallurgist of New Mexico. The alloy that is produced is as solid as iron yet enjoys the luster of silver despite having a lower thermal conductivity.
    Nambé products have been recognized by the design industry and have won numerous awards.
    There is no silver lead or pewter in the alloy, and it resists tarnish. It is not recommended that Nambé products store food for greater than a few hours due to the products
    susceptibility
    to discoloration or pitting, however the FDA has declared Nambé safe for cooking and serving.
