Light your fire! SLP Ignition Wire Kits consist of the highest quality copper core wires and caps to maximize your ignition system output. This kit provides a more complete burn for better peak horsepower and throttle response. It also comes with special spark plug boot retainers which firmly hold the spark plug to the boot. Never lose a race again from a spark plug boot vibrating loose. A must for modified or racing sleds. Comes complete with dielectric grease to ensure a reliable, long-lasting connection.
Kit includes:
(2) High performance copper core wires with crimped on ends, and rubberized caps, (2) spark plug cap retainer, and (1) packet of dielectric grease

Tech Tip:
If you pull the spark plug cap off the spark plug and there is a black film or powder on the top of the plug it means that your plug cap is worn out and the current is arcing between the loose plug cap and spark plug. The factory plug wires are carbon core which conduct less electricity than copper core wire. The factory caps screw onto the carbon core plug wires which have the tendency to become loose over time. These conditions will weaken the amount of spark that is being produced by the spark plug and can produce intermediate run-ability conditions.
