Battery condition is extremely important. No voltage regulator can work correctly with a bad or weak battery.
Always fully charge your battery before performing any charging system tests or replacing parts.
If there is any doubt, have the battery load tested or replaced.
Please note:
Our OEM part number reference and fitments, for RM30362, are correct and accurate. Please carefully compare the pictures of our part to your original, paying close attention to number of wires and connectors (3 wires, 1 connector) to make sure it is a match. There is a very similar Arctic Cat regulator for similar models that has only 5 wires, and 2 connectors, this regulator is RM30366.

Before installing your new voltage regulator rectifier;
Check the AC output of the stator.
Replace any burned or corroded connectors on stator and regulator/rectifier
Check and repair any melted wiring.
Use hi-temp dielectric grease on all connectors.
